Dr. Wafaa Mohamed Hafez Raslan
I memorized the Holy Qur’an at the age of ten and pursued my studies in Tajweed and Islamic studies at Al-Azhar University. Later, I specialized in the English Department, where I earned both my Master’s and PhD degrees in English, American, British, and Irish literature. By the grace of Allah, I have been able to combine a strong foundation in Islamic knowledge with linguistic expertise, which has enabled me to effectively bridge the gap between Islamic sciences and global languages.
My extensive teaching experience—both in-person and online—has allowed me to educate students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. I have taught Qur’an, Arabic, and Islamic studies to new Muslim women at Da’wah centers in Doha, Qatar, for four years, during which I successfully trained and taught over 10,000 students from various nationalities and cultures.I graduated from the Faculty of Languages and Translation – English Department, and I have further developed my academic and professional journey through several diplomas and specialized certifications, including:
Diploma in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language
Diploma in Islamic Studies and Islamic Translation (in English) – London, UK
Digital Educator Certificate from the Egyptian-European Association affiliated with the American University in Cairo
