Personal Introduction

I am a student at one of the Al-Azhar Institutes, where I have studied several religious subjects, including:

  • Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence)
  • Tawhid (theology)
  • Tajweed (Qur’anic recitation rules) in both Arabic and English
    I have completed a course in teaching the Qur’an, Arabic language, and Tajweed to non-native speakers (with honors).
    I finished memorizing the Qur’an at the age of 14 and received an Ijazah (authorization) in the Qur’an. 

Professional Experience

  • Teacher of Noor al-Bayan and the Qur’an for Non-Native Speakers of Arabic
    • Taught Noor al-Bayan to an American child for almost a year.
    • Volunteered in a group to correct Qur’anic recitation for non-native speakers.

Achievements

  • Participated in the global Spelling Bee competition.
